Pastor Chris Garrison preaches from Revelation 3:7-13 which is a letter written by John to the Church at Philadelphia. Once again this church is encouraged to continue their good works, but are cautioned to examine their motives and who they are placing on the throne of their lives. We are challenged to ask, "What defines us?" "Who or what gives us our identity?" If we know Christ as our author and answer to all things on Earth, He will call us sons, daughters, missionaries, blessed, holy, and righteous. He will open doors of opportunity to do the good works He made us for. He promises us a place in His Kingdom temple.

Pastor Chris Garrison is teaching from Revelation 3:1-6, a letter to the church at Sardis. The church at Sardis had a reputation as being alive and on the right track spiritually. But in actuality they were struggling with carnal issues such as envy, fear, lust, hatred, jealousy, dissension and the like. John writes to this church to encourage them to keep pursuing faith, keep growing in Christ lest they grow weak and risk spiritual death. As human members of Christ's Church on Earth, we are encouraged to embrace this call of conviction as a call to action and to be AWAKE to the things of God so we can receive the richness of life that Jesus offers us as his church.
