This is the first in a new sermons series titled, "The Whole Gospel." Our North American Baptist Regional Minister, Chris Goreman, is visiting this weekend and gives the first sermon in this series. Pastor Goreman sets the context for the gospel, giving us the big picture and its historical reality.

Pastor Chris Garrison wraps up the "We are Church" series today. Our understanding of the Gospel should draw us together as a church here, and everywhere we go. We are part of an eternal family; a church toether serving, living, loving together.

Pastor Chris introduces his next sermon series title "We are Church." Church litterally means "the called out ones." For many, church has been a place to go on Sundays. But church is not where we are, it is who we are. The Gospel, the Good New of Jesus Christ, changes who we are. We are given a new identity: a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession.

In Pastor Chris Garrison's sermon today we learn how God's glorious grace is bigger than we think! like Superman's strength comes from living in Earth's gravity, we live in the gravity of God's grace. When caught up in the garvity of grace, God is working His strenth in us making us stronger and growing us.

For the next few weeks, Pastor Chris Garriosn will be preaching about "the Great Commission." God created us with the need to follow something. Who we follow will shape who we become. As Christians disciples we choose to follow Jesus. But there is a difference between knowing Jesus and following Jesus. When we really follow Jesus, it all starts with "yes."

Pastor Chris Garrison's sermon today is from Matthew 28:16-20. To the world, the hope of Christ is just an illusion. It is up to us, as Christians, to show that is REAL. God trusts us with the Good News of Christ. He gaveus this commission, even as misfits, and empowers us as believers to show that the message of HOPE is a miracle!

Pastor Brian Glodek preaches from Lamentations on this New Year's Day. He shows us that in God there's always newness and freshness that hould excite us! The newness found in God means my past, my brokenness, does not define who I am. My possibilites with God are new "every morning."
