Samuel: Last of the Judges - "Superiority"

Superiority is the fifth message in our series Samuel: Last of the Judges.  In this series we are going through the life and times of Samuel and discovering what it means for us to follow God during challenging times.  In this message Pastor David Curtis shares with us how God demonstrated to the Philistines his superiority over the false gods they were worshiping.

"God's Call" is the third message in our series titled Samuel: Last of the Judges.  In this series we are going through the life and times of Samuel and discovering what it means for us to follow God during challenging times.  In this message our preaching intern, Jim Williams, shares with us the importance of understanding and following God's call on our lives.

Samuel: Last of the Judges - "Sovereignty"

Sovereignty is the second message in our series Samuel: Last of the Judges.  In this message Pastor David Curtis shows us two different responses to the sovereignty of God.  Hannah responds with praise for God's Sovereignty and Eli's sons reject God's sovereignty by ignoring and despises God's rules and provision for them.

"Significance" is the first message in our series titled, Samuel: Last of the Judges.  In this series we are going through the life and times of Samuel and discovering how we can follow God in the midst of difficult or challenging times.  In this message Pastor David shares with us how Samuel's mother Hannah gives up trying to find her significance in child-bearing and find her significance in the Lord instead.

Equip the NEXT Generation

This is the final message in our vision series titled Direction.  In this series we are looking at how we as a church can participate in the overall vision of our North American Baptist association.  In this message Pastor David Curtis explores the relationship between Paul & Timothy in the New Testament to help us understand how we can be a people who are about equipping the next generation of leaders for the Kingdom of God.

Spiritual Drifting

In this message Jim Williams, our Preaching Intern, challenges us to stay on course in our faith.  We are warned in Hebrews 2:1-4 to avoid drifting spiritually and like a unmoored vessel adrift on the open water.
