"Who's in Control?" is the first message in our November stewardship series titled the Road to Financial Freedom.  This series is being presented with material provided by one of our partner ministries Crown Financial Ministries.  In this message, Pastor David Curtis shares with us the differences between God's Responsibilities and Our Responsibilities when it comes to our finances.  For those of you who have been enjoying our Living as Exiles series through the book of 1 Peter we will complete that series in December following this four week Road to Financial Freedom series.

“Service” is the seventh message in our fall series titled Living as Exiles.  In this series Pastor David Curtis is teaching through the book of 1 Peter and sharing with us how we are to be living as exiles, or aliens, or strangers in this world.  In this first half of chapter 4 Peter wants his readers to understand how they are to serve outside of and inside of God's family.

“Suffering” is the sixth message in our fall series titled Living as Exiles.  In this series Pastor David Curtis is teaching through the book of 1 Peter and sharing with us how we are to be living as exiles, or aliens, or strangers in this world.  In this second half of chapter 3 Peter wants his readers to understand God's purpose for suffering in their lives.  He wants them to have a both a Biblical perspective and response to the suffering that they endure while following Christ in this fallen and sinful world.

“Behavior” is the fifth message in our fall series titled Living as Exiles.  In this series Pastor David Curtis is teaching through the book of 1 Peter and sharing with us how we are to be living as exiles, or aliens, or strangers in this world.  In this first half of chapter 3 Peter wants his readers to understand that the way in which they interact in their relationships is important to God, and that our treatment of our spouses and others impacts the way in which people understand God.

“Behavior” is the fourth message in our fall series titled Living as Exiles.  In this series Pastor David Curtis will be teaching through the book of 1 Peter and sharing with us how we are to be living as exiles, or aliens, or strangers in this world.  In this second half of chapter 2 Peter wants his readers to understand that their behavior is important to God, and that many times God will use the testimony of our behavior to communicate his love and truth to the lost.

“Hope” is the second message in our fall series titled Living as Exiles.  In this series Pastor David Curtis will be teaching through the book of 1 Peter and sharing with us how we are to be living as exiles, or aliens, or strangers in this world.  In the second half of chapter 1 Peter wants his readers to understand that their hope is founded on grace we have in Jesus Christ who was chosen to be the savior of the world even before God even created us.

"Identity" is the first message in our new fall series titled Living as Exiles.  In this series Pastor David Curtis will be teaching through the book of 1 Peter and sharing with us how we are to be living as exiles, or aliens, or strangers in this world.  In the first part of chapter 1 Peter wants his readers to understand how their new birth and new identity that they have in Christ Jesus impacts the way in which they live their lives.
