7 Letters to the Churches: First Love

This is the second sermon in the letters to the 7 Churches series. Pastor Chris Garrison teaches from Revelation 2:1-7. The Apostle John writes to the church in Ephesus about returning to their first love, the love that Jesus has for them, His church on Earth. As the author of us, Jesus has the awareness of us and is the answer for all the needs we, as a church, need.

7 Letters to the Churches: Revelation 1

In this sermon, Pastor Chris Garrison starts a new sermon in a series entitled "7 Letters to the Churches."  The letters to the Seven Churches are found in chapters two and three of the Book of Revelation.  In the vision of the Apostle John, Jesus dictates letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor that are relevant to the church in any age.

Handles: Wrath

In this, the final sermon in the "Handles" Series, Pastor Chris Garrison gives us a picture of God's "just" wrath. Just wrath is a necessary component of life. Even though we are uncomfortable with it, God's wrath flows out of His love for His creation and for His children. When that love is violated, He shows His anger as a consequence to those who deserve it. But the Good News is that Jesus took the wrath that we deserve, took it to the cross, and paid the ultimate price so we don't  have to face the wrath of God.
